“They unblocked what I didn’t even know was blocking me”

Megan Stachini, Founder and Coach, Intrinsic MA

When we met Megan, she was already a very accomplished business owner: “At 26 I started my first ‘real’ company as a single mum. This company has now grown to 2 sites and over 30 staff, at 33 I now have 3 companies and am a director of a charity for neurodiverse children”

But she was standing at a threshold.

Megan was ready to step back from day-to-day operations, trust her team with more responsibility, and lean into what she knew was her real strength. Coaching business owners and professionals who wanted to take control of their lives and work in a more aligned way.

What she was missing was clarity.

“I knew I had something in me to create,” she told us. “But being able to communicate that clearly, to explain the depth of the transformation, was really difficult.”

Despite her experience and success, Megan felt she was starting again. Her identity as a coach, her positioning and her offer were not yet clear. Messaging felt scattered, visibility not quite right. She was putting in the hard work, but her energy was spread too thin.

As she put it, “I was being visible, but it wasn’t in alignment with the people I wanted to attract.”

Megan did not need extra motivation, or more ideas to chase after. She needed focus, grounding, structure and a way to translate what she was successfully delivering into a commercially viable offer and then communicate it all in the right way to reach the client base aligned to her.

Getting clarity without losing herself

Our work began with identity.

We worked closely with Megan to clarify her evolution as a coach, how that connected to her extensive experience as a founder, and how those pieces translated into a clear positioning and niche. From there, we drew out the elements of her offer to reveal a process that was uniquely hers.

Alongside this, we also:

🔶 Defined clear priorities so her energy was focused where it mattered
🔶 Professionally written messaging, media kit and full website copy that reflected her voice and depth
🔶 Built a strategy and action plan grounded in how Megan actually works, not how she thought she should work
🔶 Reviewed pipeline, role-played and reviewed live sales conversations with tailored feedback
🔶 Designed a sales process aligned with her values and the clients she wanted to help
🔶 Prepared her strategically for key visibility moments, including a conference in Los Angeles

Throughout the process, we combined strategy and structure with direct challenge. Megan was clear about the impact this had had:

“You challenged me deeper than I expected. But it’s what I needed. You see the blind spots and you don’t let them slide.”

One of the most important shifts came from what Megan described as “unblocking the unknown.”

“I didn’t realise how much I was holding myself back. I was making myself smaller. You helped me see the parts of myself I was avoiding and accept them.”

Strategy that actually works for creative founders

For a highly creative and intuitive founder, adding structure to the sales process was not a very exciting proposition. But structure does not have to mean rigidity. That’s where many strategies fail the creative founders, or the ones that are impatient, want to move fast or get shiny-object syndrome. They cannot tolerate the rigidity of a step-by-step structure if it’s just thrown at them, with a cookie-cutter approach… because no one tailored that structure to their way of working:

“I’m not a step person,” Megan admitted. “But having the steps clarified means I don’t have to keep revisiting the same questions. It saves me time, energy, and money.”

Sales, in particular, shifted significantly. We worked through proposal calls, role play, and mindset around pricing and decision-making. Megan moved from improvising in conversations to leading them with confidence and intention.

“You didn’t just tell me what to do. You explained why in a way that resonated with my mind, body, and soul.”

Perhaps the most meaningful change was internal.

"

“I learned that I don’t need to get rid of any part of myself. I just need to adapt to the situation and bring all of me into the room. Feeling safe to do that is transformative.”

The results

The outcomes were tangible and fast.

During our work together, Megan:

📙 Landed a speaking role at a business event in Los Angeles

📙 Signed a five-figure coaching engagement

📙 Took full control of her sales pipeline

📙 Gained complete clarity on her offer and brand

📙 Stopped second-guessing and moved forward with focused intent

Megan is clear when sharing her thoughts on who would benefit most from the support we offer at The Orange Notebook:

"

“This is for successful people who know they can do more but feel slightly disconnected from where they are. You’re not here to save anyone. You’re here to help people break through. It’s like being lifted up and then trusted to fly on your own. That kind of support is rare.”
